First Blog Post... Here We Go!

Hello and welcome to my first real blog post! So happy you're here and want to follow along on my adventures :)

My departure to Budapest is fast approaching, and in less than a week I'll be moved into my apartment and living in Europe! Before I leave the States, I wanted to introduce what this blog is about, how to stay connected, and things you can expect!

Why a Blog?!

One of my friends made an offhanded comment about how I should start a vlog when I'm on my study abroad (you know who you are lol) so I thought why not! It's a streamlined approach to staying in contact with everyone that I want to, and will serve as a digital journal of my time in Europe. On here I'll be sure to highlight all of the adventures I'll be up to, like weekend travels, café reviews, and everything in between!

I will of course be learning lots of new math topics and for my fellow math enthusiasts, I'll be sure to have a separate thread of new things I've learned. Hungary has a unique way of teaching math to students, so who knows what kind of things I'll get into! Here's a link to learn more about my program.

Budapest Semesters in Math

I love writing and sharing stories with people, and I've always wanted to have a blog since I was little. Being able to reach so many different people with a single post is really neat. Luckily for me, I have so many people in the States that I will dearly miss and will want to stay in contact with, so this blog ensures that I can keep up with everyone in some capacity. That way everyone can get their daily dose of Mackenzie and not feel as though I'm thousands of miles away!
